The short version: we collect what we need to teach you and nothing more. We never sell your data. Your WhatsApp number is for your account and your class, not for spam.
Who we are
TecPal is operated by Tech Stars Ltd (RC 9435573), with campuses at 27 Oladimeji Alo Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos and 1 Dele Udo Street, Ikenegbu, Owerri, Imo State. For anything privacy related, write to [email protected].
What we collect
Account details: your name, email address and WhatsApp number, given when you register for a Bootcamp.
Learning activity: classes attended, projects submitted, progress through modules, and your conversations with Pal.
Payment records: amounts, dates, plan and reference numbers. Card details go straight to our payment processor and never touch our servers.
Technical basics: device type, browser and rough location from your IP address, used to keep the platform secure and fast.
Why we collect it
To create your account and verify it is really you, to teach you and track your progress, to issue certificates that can be verified, to process payments, and to tell you about your cohort. We also use anonymous, aggregated figures to publish our outcomes honestly.
Your rights under the NDPR
Nigeria's Data Protection Regulation gives you the right to see the data we hold on you, correct it, take it elsewhere, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your personal data; anonymised learning statistics may remain in aggregate.
Who we share with
Only the services that make the school work: our payment processor, our messaging providers for WhatsApp and email, our hosting and analytics providers, and the AI provider that powers Pal. Each handles data on our instruction only. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever, and we do not share your details with employers without your explicit permission.
How long we keep it
Account and learning records stay while your account is open, and for seven years after certification so we can verify certificates for employers. Payment records are kept as long as Nigerian tax law requires.

The short version: show up, do the work, treat people well. We provide the teaching, the projects and the introductions. We do not promise anyone a job, and neither should any school.
Your account
Registering for a free Bootcamp creates your account and unlocks every curriculum and intro video on the platform. One account per person. Keep your WhatsApp number current, since that is how we verify you and reach you about class.
What we provide
Live classes on the published schedule, physical in Lagos or Owerri and virtual online, running together in real time.
Course materials, projects and feedback, including AI review from Pal followed by your instructor's final word.
A certificate on completion, verifiable at tecpal.ai/verify.
Career support on paid tiers: CV work, interview practice and introductions to hiring partners.
What we expect from you
Attend your classes, submit your own work, and keep the community respectful. Sharing paid course material outside the platform, reselling access, or harassing classmates and staff ends your enrolment without refund.
Payments and installments
Prices are published on the pricing page and are in Nigerian naira. Installments are interest-free. If a payment fails you get a seven-day grace window and a reminder on WhatsApp; after that, access pauses until the plan is current. Your progress and projects are never deleted while a plan is paused.
Schedules and deferrals
Cohort dates can shift for good reason, and we will tell you as early as we can. You may defer to the next cohort once, free of charge. If we cancel a cohort outright, you get a full refund or a free transfer, your choice.
Certificates and honesty
Certificates are issued to learners who complete the required modules and projects. Every certificate carries a verification link, and we will confirm or deny authenticity to any employer who asks. Falsifying work voids the certificate.
Payments only through TecPal
All payments go through the secure checkout on tecpal.ai. We will never ask you to pay into a personal account. Anyone who does is not us, and you should report it to [email protected] immediately.
Liability and law
We provide education, not employment guarantees or investment advice. Our liability is limited to the fees you have paid us. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Refund policy

The short version: not satisfied in your first seven days of a paid program? Full refund, no forms, no argument. Just tell us.
Free Bootcamps
Nothing to refund, because there is nothing to pay. You can walk away at any point and keep your free account and everything it unlocked.
The seven-day window
Every paid tier carries a seven-day refund window that starts on the first day of class, not the day you paid. Within that window, email [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp and you get 100 percent of what you paid back. No essays required, no exit interview.
After seven days
Nano-Diplomas and Diplomas: we refund the unused portion of your remaining installments if you withdraw before the halfway point. Past halfway, fees are not refundable, but you may defer once, free, and finish with a later cohort.
Masterclasses: refundable up to 48 hours before the session. After that we can move you to the next date instead.
If we cancel
If TecPal cancels a cohort or cannot deliver a program, you get a full refund or a free transfer to another cohort or course. Your choice, always.
How refunds are paid
Back to the way you paid, within ten working days. Card payments return to the same card, bank transfers to the account you sent from, and cryptocurrency payments in the same asset at the current rate. We do not deduct processing fees from refunds.
How to ask
Email [email protected] from the address on your account, or message our WhatsApp line. Include your name and cohort. A human replies within two working days, and you will get a written confirmation of the outcome either way.
